Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin most notably known for its protective effects on bone. Vitamin D has been used for building bone mass and preventing bone loss, protecting against muscle weakness and promoting strong teeth. It is also used for preventing rickets and postmenopausal osteoporosis. Interestingly, very few foods naturally contain Vitamin D. Fantastic product

Since Canadians do not obtain enough Vitamin D from the sun, it is vital to take a supplement. I thoroughly enjoy taking it in liquid form as it is much easier to swallow and to be absorbed by your body.

As Canadians, we do not have enough Vitamin D in our diet nor enough sun throughout the year. Therefore, every day I take my vitamin D liquid which I mix with juice. I hate to take capsules and that is why I choose the liquid form; its convenience and it is easier to swallow and digest.

The front of the bottle says 1000iu which is incorrect it is actually 500iu.
