I'm by far not an industry expert, but I try to read labeling on the foods that I eat. On paper, the nutritional profile of the Pineapple coconut bar is great. The taste and texture is also on point. Some protein or nutrition bars are extremely chewy or hard, some are crunchy. This one is more of s soft chewy yet not solid type of texture (as is with all genuine health bars). I would buy this again.
The only complaint that I have is possibly the sugar (or sweet) content. I understand that it's not refined sugar, but it's hard to discern what level of sweet is from the fruit and what is added in the form of stevia. I think that these bars in general have a bit too much sugar / sweet in them. 8 g is quite a lot. the dark cherry version has 12 g. I'd like to see sugars at less than 5g and reduction in stevia. I like my sweets like everyone else, but i think it defeats the purpose of a "healthy" alternative if we are packing these with sugar.
